Why is it so incredibly difficult to reach the Hampton bay company to replace a part. It’s reduculous that such a large company would have contact phone numbers listed that don’t work. Then only provide a new number that is a home depot customer service number. And it’s only available Monday- Friday?? Really?? People actually work during the week and mostly only have time to deal with this type of problem on free time.. Aka the weekend. So we will go to a local glass company that actually provides customer service. Hampton bay has great products to bad there customer service options stink!!

Dont trust the globe…It fell,for no dam reason..had this fan for about 5 years..it fell an shatter on my new custom made coffee table bought back in June this year..Table is now very much damaged..What too do…….July 18 2012
My ceiling fan remote, Model #191-691, stopped working recently. I’ve had it about 4-5 years. I took the battery out & didn’t replace it until about a week later. Now the remote won’t work even with a new battery. Does this mean I need to replace the entire unit?

I really like the Altura model ceiling fan. I see that is only comes in a 68″ (huge) and 56″. Do you offer this particular model in a smaller size? I love how the blades are sculpted rather than flat. Thanks-

I have a hampton bay ceiling fan,model number HC42AB and the fan speed control switch is bad. What are the chances I can get a replacement.
I just had my remote and fan stop working on my brand new ceiling fan. When we took it down the white box that controls the remote was smoking and burnt black it melted the plastic. I just now reported it to Hampton Bay and will wait for a response. Just watch if the fan stops working it don’t set a fire. Luckily I was home it could’ve burned our house down. I have 4 others thru out our house and am petrified to use them. Just an FYI and be alert if fan stops working.
Did you just have one, or more than one fan wired to the white box, wall control for the fan?? I am wanting to put two fans in my garage and wire them to one box/wall control but am scared of doing the same thing. That said, I have tried to contact Hampton Bay for tech support/consult on this question, numerous times, but to no avail….
PLEASE—-share with me what they said about this thwarted fire experience you had. This seriously makes me want to second guess buying their fans.

I bought a patio set a few months ago, and I finally got around to putting it together today. I noticed that 1 chair base did install on the chair seat due to the holes not lining up. The 5 other chairs are fine, it’s just this one. I called Home Depot (where I purchased it from) and they said to contact Hampton Bay for a replacement as Home Depot no longer has summer furniture. I have sent 2 emails with no response. Is there a phone number I can call to have it replaced? The only one I can find is for lighting/fans.
What number do I call to have a chair from my patio furniture set replaced? I bought it and the base of the chair does not fit on the seat part (the holes do not line up). I have two Littleton 42″ fans that I’ve installed in different bedrooms. One works just fine and the other will blow downward as intended for about 15 minutes. After that the fan continues to spin at full speed but air no longer circulates downwards. The only way I’ve found to resolve this is to switch the direction via the switch then restart it.
Has anyone else encountered this?
I purchased a Lake Alice 54″ ceiling fan about 7 months ago, about 2 months ago the light and fan would stop working then start working. Now neither works. How can I go about getting this fixed?
I was looking to replace my remote fan/light switch. After reading what everyone is going thru , I think it’s best for me to move on to a better company. The people trying to help are nice . But Hampton Bay seems to hide behind Home Depot .
That’s why I’m here , Home Depot could not help or answer my questions . Troubleshooting in this web site as a link sent me to some non-related site , this tells me Hampton bay sells web space to ANYONE , how cheesy AND Cheat of a company ! !
I just installed a Hampton Bay halogen track light. The bulbs ( 5 total) are 20 bucks each and are not included. Instructions tell you to use a small flat bracket to install it. That is also not included. I will never buy one of their products again.
