Like Wayne, I am looking for the wiring manual for the Hawkins 44″ fan with lighting fixture.
When I attempt to open the download for the fan it requires a password. How do I obtain a password?

Jason, yut seem to know a lot about these fans/lighting kits. A golbe fell and shattered and I need a replacement. Home Depot is no help at all. The fan is two years old and I kon’t know the model number. I only know that the bottom of the fixture where the set screws are is 9 1/2 inches in diameter. Thanks

hey jason, or other responder, we purchased a Hampton Bay ceiling fan model AC5524L, (SKU# 754-332) ‘TT’, ‘YL’ , serial# 010464 with UPC# 71821048245 dated 01-04. We love this fan as it has been completely reliable. No problems with it eccept early on the receiver had a bad component (cold solder joint) and the local Home Depot rectified the problem. It has worked silently on demand for eight years, light controls are flawless and we want another one for another room. Do you guys still have this model somewhere around the globe? The local Home Depot doesn’t carry anything that has the decor, style or charactor as this model light.
Also would like a parts manual for this light if available. It is still the best classic ceiling light you have produced. Thanks for your time,

we have a southwind V 52 in ceiling fan. mod. # 434 369. (thats the # on the owners manual). on the fan itself, i found #’s 100471, 52ANT, and 1.36a 163 w…… i broke the globe and need to replace it. there are no part #’s in the manual. if i cant replace the globe, i will some specs on what kind light kit to replace it with that will be compatable with the remote control. thanks, Tony

I had one of your Industrial 60″ ceiling fans installed in my kitchen and have never been able to figure out how to get it to go in reverse. also, it is supposed to be a 4 speed, but does nothing on the #4 setting.

Can you post the manual for Hampton Bay Mediterranean 52″ Ceiling Fan (UL Model No. 52-CS, Vendor No. 11688, UPC 082392460129)?
I am curious if it has been updated. I have the manual from a few years ago, and it states on pages 6 & 8 to replace with Max. 40 watt bulbs. But when I took out the burnt out bulbs, they were 60 watts. The sockets say 75 watt max though. So which to believe?

I need a manual for the above Hampton Bay celing fan/light with remote. Trying to set the remote to work the fans and cannot figure out how/where to set the code # on the receiver.
Moved into a new home with a previously install Springview ceiling fan. The fans pull chain switch broke. I replaced it with a new switch, now the fan does not turn off and only has two speeds fast and faster.

Hi. We bought a house 2 years ago and love the ceiling fan that is installed in the living room. Though now it has stopped changing speeds. It does have a remote and is hard wired, but only runs on low. We know the remote still works right because it will power it on and off and power the light fixture, but the fan will not change speeds. The only identifiers we have are model uc7083t, IC 2968A-7083t, rhine electric. Please let us know what model name, size and what might possibly be wrong with the fan. Thank you.

Bought a condo two months ago and inherited a Hampton Bay fan. The owner did not leave a manual. Looking at Home Depot website I believe it’s a Hampton Bay Pilot 60 in. and 52 in. Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan. The light went out last night and the fan now is making an annoying noise on a low speed. I believe the two occurrences are not related. Not an good start to my Hampton Bay ownership experience.

Hi I need to upgrade the light/motor housing for Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan Model UC7051R. The clips that hold the globes onto the motor/remote housing broken so they globes hang dangerously close to falling off.
Ive seen lighting kits on HD.com but not sure which kit is compatible, or if I can just purchase or replace the clips I need for the globes. Can you please provide link to the fan manual as well a a few solutions for a compatible kit or if I can just get new clips.

The Florentine that I have was purchased in 1996, model number 630-802, not the Florentine IV. They are green and somewhat translucient with bright bronze fixtures.
I purchased 5 as I liked it so well and kept them when I moved to Alabama. I just need a couple parts. I would send a picture if there is a way to attach. Please help, I am moving into my retirement home and so many special times happened under those fans that I want them with me.

PS to above comment. All fans ran continuosly since 1997 and are in perfect running order. A tribute to Hampton Bay!! What I need are the top caps for 2 of the lights and a hanging assembly, lost in the move from Florida. Down rods are no longer the same diameter but we should be able to cut the 4 foot one into 2 for this house.

I’m sorry if I have missed it somewhere up above, but I inherited a Hampton Bay fan that has no visible numbers or markings other than on the remote, which suddenly quit operating the fan. Was hoping to get the manual and perhaps get some ideas on how to fix. Any suggestions on how to find out what model/kind of fan I have?

I emailed you previously without the fan info. the fan is a mediterranean 52″ Hampton fan #0233370 and UPC 082392460150. It’s the receiver that stopped working. I changed the battery in the handheld and without the receiver the fan and light work wired directly. thanks!

I have 5 ceiling fan and light combiations in my house. One of them is not working with the remote control. where can i find the model number and where is the receiver of the fan located? i dissembled the fan from the ceiling, could not find the receiver. thanks.

I just started working for a restaurant that has 3 hampton bay fans in the dinning room. they are controlled by remote. Not sure of the model. I took the light cover off and the information there was all about the floresent bulb, not the fan. My question is, how do you change the direction of the fan blades? There is not a switch located on the fan. Is there a a button sequence that I enter on the remote to change the blade direction? What is the sequence?

Hi Jason. Well I have talked to the folks at Customer Service, and they have been both helpful and not helpful at the same time. They have given me the model name for my fan. It’s called “Quick Connect”. They also said I could use the universal light kit sold at Home Depot for my fan, but that is not correct. The universal light kit is mounted to the fan by removiing the bottom plate and replacing it with the light kit. That is simple enough. The problem is that my fan does not have a bottom plate.
Perhaps you can locate a manual for the “Quick Connect” model, and that will show me how to do it. Here is the info off the data plate again. Model: MV52V-FE, SKU: 140-254, UPC #: 043263-128890

I need help. The fan speed control switch fell apart. Can the switch be replace with a common three speed control switch or do I need to find the “black box” switch that it was equipped with?
Hi Jason, Thanks for the reply, and no problem about the delay. I understand that I am not the only one needing your services besides having to research my particular model. Unfortunately neither of the models you mentioned are the right one. Both of these models have a removable plate on the bottom of the fan housing that the light kit fastens to. My model does not have that removbable plate. On the top where the fan wires to the house there is a blue wire marked light that is wrapped together with the black wire. That makes me think there should be a light kit, however the entire housing on the bottom of the motor would have to be removed. That would mean removing the on/off switch as well as the reverse direction switch since they are both mounted in the housing that would have to be removed. I’m wondering if the blue wire is just there because it was easier than putting in another wiring harness with out the wire. If there was a way to send you a picture of the housing I would do that and then you might better understand what I’m trying to say.

Thank you for posting the manual for me. Unfortunately that doesn’t look like the fan I’m working on. Here is all of the information I have on the fan from the manufactures label. SKU: 394-251, Model: AC-552 “PP”, E75795 “YL”, UPC: 792145331759, Date 02-03, Vendor 11289, SN: 000145. This fan has 4 individual glass light shades, different style blades and brackets.
I’m missing the circular mounting plate that the decorative canopy wire cover screws to. I can’t find the part at either Home depot or Lowe’s, neither online or in the store. How can I find the part number, and where I can get this part from? The cover’s inside diameter is 5 3/4″.

I just called Home Depot Customer Service for Hampton Bay Fan parts at 1-877-527-0313. They gave me a price of $16 (includes shipping) for the remote. I also called eceilingfans.com and their price is $49.20 plus $10 shipping. So I will definitely get the one from Home Depot! Thanks again for being there for all of us consumers!!!!

hello, i just moved into my new place and the fan in my place has a burnt out bulb . i am not 100% sure the fan is a hampton bay fan but it does look like it very well might be . the light shade is on the bottom and is dome shape . there is a set screw on top of that . i have taken the set screw from the top out but the shade wont come down . have any tips?

My fiancee and I just bought a home and the bedroom came with a Hampton Bay Model: AC-552AL (Vendor: 11289, UPC: 002918), and we can’t seem to start the fan or the bottom light fixture. The top light that is controlled with a switch
and dimmer works fine. We got a remote control for the fan and we assumed that the bottom light and the fan should be controllable with it. We first changed the battery of the remote control thinking that must be the problem but that didn’t help either. The remote control has 4 DIP switches in it. I tried all 16 combinations of the DIP switches thinking
that may somehow control the frequency for communication but that didn’t help.
I have 2 questions.
1. Can you please post the manual for this ceiling fan + light fixture?
2. Any ideas on what may be going on here? Would you suspect the remote or the fixture?

I have the Flush Mount Lighting ceiling light (model 435-061). The fixture was purchased at HomeDepot in 2008. Problem: the light has a PIR sensor. The light will turn on and off when there is no motion in the area. The light turns on when walking on the floor above.
I love the looks of the light but I am very tired of the light coming on at all times of the day, multiple times in a row, while I am trying sleep. Light is outside of my bedroom.
Is there a manual for this light? The papers enclosed with the light are no help.
We purchased last weekend (4) Hampton Bay fans 25th Anniversary (Silver Edition) – Campbell UPC 082392513504. These fans come with the sensor and remote. We installed all 4 fans. (2) of the fans we are having problems with the lights. The fan works with the remote and wall switch, but if you turn the light on it turns off. We turned it on with the wall switch and it turns right back off, we then try the remote, it turns on but turns right back off. Both of these rooms have two way switches. After flipping wall switchs and remote we gave up. When I went back later and flipped the switch it stayed on.??? The other room the light was on and then by itself turned off? I there something we need to do to train the remote? It is very annoying when the light won’t stay on or if it is on just decides to turn off.
