i have 2 Hampton Bay Thermostatic Ceiling Fan and Lights, one in my bedroom and the other in the living room, now thing is, my kids got a hold of a remote and smashed it, so its in a hundred pieces, other than reordering one, is there any way to program the remote to both ceiling fans?!?! please help, thank you in advance!!!
My son gave a ceiling fan to me that he can no longer use. I have the remote, but not the transmitter that goes in the fan. Are the remotes universal? There was no model # on the fan, but the remote has the following: FCC ID: L3HMAY97FANHD, MODEL-FAN-HD.
Please let me know what transmitter I need for this or if I need to buy a new remote & transmitter. If I need to buy one, which one(s) will work with the fan?
Thanks for your help.
Sandy
@Sandy… The remote is Universal… About the transmitter I will look into it and let you know.
I purchased 2 identical ceiling fans for our bedrooms. The remote for one has always worked fantastic. The other will work for a short period of time (1 or 2 days) and then need another battery. I have no idea why it’s going through so many batteries. Please help. Model: UC7083T FCC ID: CHQ7083T
@Melanie… The problem would be that the other remote might share the same frequency with some other device and hence the instant drain in battery. Please call Hampton Bay customer support at 18775270313 they should help you out on how to fix this problem. Don’t forget to quote your Model number.
